Terms & Conditions

Appointment Attendance

Patients are kindly asked to arrive on time for their appointment.

Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time or, where necessary, rescheduling of the appointment to avoid delays for other patients. In such circumstances, a cancellation fee may still apply.

Cancellation & Missed Appointment Policy

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend (DNA – Did Not Attend), may incur a charge equivalent to the full appointment fee.

This policy allows us to offer appointment availability to other patients requiring care.

Payment Policy

All consultation and treatment fees are payable at the time of your appointment.

We do not routinely offer invoicing facilities unless agreed in advance.

Ear Corner reserves the right to request pre-payment for future bookings where appointments have previously been missed or cancelled late.

Clinical Assessment & Treatment Suitability

All patients undergo an ear health assessment prior to treatment.

Microsuction ear wax removal procedures will only be carried out where it is clinically safe and appropriate to do so.

In some cases, treatment may need to be postponed or declined if:
– Wax requires further softening
– Infection or inflammation is present
– Medical contraindications are identified
– Referral to a GP or specialist is required

The consultation assessment fee remains payable where treatment cannot safely proceed.

Follow-Up & Advance Booking

Where appropriate, follow-up appointments may be recommended as part of your ear care plan.

Booking appointments in advance helps:
– Maintain ear health
– Prevent recurrence of symptoms
– Secure convenient appointment times

Appointments may be amended with appropriate notice.

Patient Responsibility

Patients are responsible for:
– Providing accurate medical history information
– Following pre-treatment advice (e.g. use of olive oil drops where recommended)
– Informing the clinician of any discomfort during treatment

Consent to Treatment

By attending your appointment, you confirm that:
– You consent to ear examination and agreed treatment
– You understand all procedures carry small clinical risks which will be explained where relevant
– You have had the opportunity to ask questions prior to treatment

Respect & Clinic Environment

Ear Corner operates a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive or inappropriate behaviour towards staff or other patients.

Thank You

We sincerely thank you for choosing Ear Corner and for your continued support and recommendations to family and friends.
